SOcialist Night ScHOOL:

Cooperatives -- Democracy at Work

Thursday, June 24 at 7 p.m.

Zoom link

Join us Thursday, June 24 at 7 p.m. for a discussion about worker-owned and worker-managed cooperatives! We all know that broadening democracy is a key socialist tenet, but democracy is not limited to our elected representatives. To fulfill our desire for a just and democratic society, we need not only political democracy, but also economic democracy where workers have a say in the jobs they are doing. We will look at the pros and cons of worker self-directed enterprises and discuss their potential to help us build a better world.
